Formal recognition for senior managers and builders who apply building, construction and sustainability knowledge to large and high-rise construction projects.
Overview

Get recognised for the construction management expertise you’ve built running large and high-rise projects. The CPC60220 Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (Management) covers building codes and standards, contract administration, legal compliance and WHS management for complex building work. It is designed for builders and senior managers who already apply this knowledge on real projects, in a real or closely simulated workplace environment. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get the Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (Management) through RPL instead of studying full-time?
Yes, RPL formally assesses the construction management experience you've already built on large projects against the CPC60220 units, with the partner RTO issuing the qualification once you meet the standard. It's a genuine assessment pathway, not a way of avoiding the assessment process itself.
How much construction management experience do I need for Advanced Diploma RPL?
You need solid, documented evidence of construction management work, such as records showing how you've applied building codes and standards on large or high-rise projects, and contract administration frameworks you've set up or reviewed. The stronger and more detailed your evidence, the clearer the case an assessor can build against each unit.
Is an RPL Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction the same as one earned through full-time training?
Yes, it's the identical AQF-registered CPC60220 qualification, issued by an ASQA-registered RTO no matter which pathway got you there. RPL doesn't create a separate or watered-down version of the qualification.
What roles can I move into with an Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (Management)?
This qualification is aimed at Construction Manager roles, overseeing construction management, code compliance and contracts on large building projects. It's the recognised qualification pathway for people already doing this level of work but without the formal paper credential to match.
