GENERAL RPL INFOIs RPL a "shortcut" or a dodgy loophole?
Not at all. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a rigorous, government-regulated assessment process. It’s simply a different way of proving you meet the national standards. You’ve already done the “learning” on the job; we just help you get the “recognition.”
Will my certificate say "RPL" on it?
No. Your qualification is issued by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and is an official Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) document. It is identical to a certificate earned through four years of TAFE.
How long does the whole thing take?
While TAFE can take years, our process usually takes between 2 and 8 weeks. It mostly depends on how fast you can get your evidence (photos, videos, references) over to us. Once your file is “audit-ready,” our RTO partners move quickly.
Do I need to come into an office or classroom?
No. We are 100% remote-friendly. You can upload your evidence from your phone while you’re on the job or sitting on the couch. We handle the rest.
I heard about 3,500 RPL certificates being cancelled. Is my cert safe with ATSR?
That’s exactly why we exist. Those cancellations happened because providers cut corners. ATSR acts as a Compliance Filter. We ensure your evidence is robust and “bulletproof” so that your qualification stands up to any ASQA audit. We prioritize your long-term security over a “quick fix.”
Is ATSR an RTO?
We are a facilitator and navigator. We specialize in evidence mapping and compliance. We partner with the best RTOs in the country who perform the final assessment and issue the qualification. This “double-check” system is what keeps your application secure.
Can I get my Trade License with an RPL certificate?
Yes. Licensing bodies like Fair Trading, VBA, and QBCC require a specific AQF qualification. As long as your RPL certificate is issued by a compliant RTO (which we guarantee), it meets the educational requirements for your license.
Does this work for Migration/Visa purposes?
