A step-by-step pathway to formal recognition across cleaning, pest management, pool servicing and security.

Collect Your Evidence

Using your personalised checklist, gather evidence that demonstrates your skills and experience. This may include employment records, certificates, photos, videos, or supervisor references. Your Navigator will guide you every step of the way.

Receive Your Enrolment & RPL Docs

We’ll send your Enrolment Form and LLN Assessment to complete first. Following that, you’ll receive your Self-Assessment Form and Third-Party Verification Form to work through carefully before moving to the next step.

Submit Your Completed Forms

Complete and sign all required forms, then return them along with your full evidence portfolio. Ensure every section is filled in, all signatures are included, and all supporting documents are attached before submitting.

Assessment and Competency Review

Your RTO Assessor will review and map your evidence against the required unit competencies. Where further clarification is needed, a competency conversation will be conducted to confirm your knowledge and skills.

Outcome Issued

Once assessed as competent across all required units, the RTO will formally issue your certificate or Statement of Attainment. Your real-world experience is now officially recognised as a nationally accredited qualification.

The Answers You Need Before You Start Your Property Services Recognition

I've worked in commercial cleaning for years and now run my own crew. Can that experience be recognised?−

Yes. Hands-on cleaning experience can be assessed against CPP30321 Certificate III in Cleaning Operations, and if you also quote jobs, plan work and manage staff, it may be assessed against CPP40421 Certificate IV in Cleaning.

Can my security supervisor or control room experience count toward a qualification?+

It can. If you lead security teams, run briefings or manage control room or monitoring operations, that experience can be assessed against CPP40719 Certificate IV in Security Management through a formal RPL assessment.

Does a Property Services qualification through RPL replace my state pest or security licence?+

No. The qualification is issued by an ASQA-registered RTO, while pest management and security licences are issued separately by state and territory regulators. Qualifications such as CPP30119 Certificate III in Urban Pest Management can support a licence application, so check your regulator's requirements.

I service pools and spas for homes and businesses. Is there a qualification for that work?+

Yes. Experience testing water, dosing chemicals and maintaining filtration and circulation systems can be assessed against CPP31218 Certificate III in Swimming Pool and Spa Service.
