TLI50224 Diploma of Logistics

Formal recognition for the general integrated management of logistics, requiring self-directed application of knowledge and skills, judgement in planning, and personal responsibility for complex technical operations.
Overview

Turn years of hands-on logistics management experience into the TLI50224 Diploma of Logistics, a nationally recognised qualification for the general integrated management of logistics. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows your experience planning and selecting appropriate equipment, services and techniques, and organising others, to be formally assessed against this qualification rather than starting your learning over. Once your evidence is assessed and confirmed by our partner RTO, you hold the same AQF-recognised Diploma as anyone who completed the qualification through classroom-based study.

How It Works

Once your Student Agreement is signed and your initial payment is confirmed, your RPL journey begins — here's what to expect at each stage.

1
Collect Your Evidence
Using your personalised checklist, gather evidence that demonstrates your skills and experience. This may include employment records, certificates, photos, videos, or supervisor references. Your Navigator will guide you every step of the way.
2
Receive Your Enrolment & RPL Docs
We'll send your Enrolment Form and LLN Assessment to complete first. Following that, you'll receive your Self-Assessment Form and Third-Party Verification Form to work through carefully before moving to the next step.
3
Submit Your Completed Forms
Complete and sign all required forms, then return them along with your full evidence portfolio. Ensure every section is filled in, all signatures are included, and all supporting documents are attached before submitting.
4
Assessment and Competency Review
Your RTO Assessor will review and map your evidence against the required unit competencies. Where further clarification is needed, a competency conversation will be conducted to confirm your knowledge and skills.
5
Outcome Issued
Once assessed as competent across all required units, the RTO will formally issue your certificate or Statement of Attainment. Your real-world experience is now officially recognised as a nationally accredited qualification.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a Diploma of Logistics through RPL instead of studying full-time?−

Yes, RPL recognises the logistics experience you've already built through a formal assessment process rather than requiring you to repeat training in skills you already use. A partner RTO assesses your evidence against the diploma's national standards before issuing the qualification.

What evidence do I need to apply for RPL in logistics?+

Useful evidence includes supply chain plans, schedules or logistics reports you've developed, vendor or third-party contract records you've managed, and inventory, warehousing or distribution records you've overseen. The stronger and more varied this evidence, the more it supports your application.

Is an RPL Diploma of Logistics the same as one earned through full-time training?+

Yes, it's the exact same AQF-registered qualification, issued by an ASQA-registered RTO — RPL is simply a different pathway to that same credential. ATSR guides you through the process, but the partner RTO conducts the assessment and issues the diploma.

What does this diploma let me do in a logistics career?+

A Diploma of Logistics is aimed at the Logistics Manager role, covering the supply of goods from vendor to customer, liaison with third-party providers, and supervision of logistics staff. It's built for people already doing this work who want it formally recognised.
