Formal recognition for individuals who provide leadership and strategic direction in planning and managing supply chain logistics, applying fundamental principles and complex techniques across varied contexts.
Overview

Turn years of hands-on senior supply chain experience into the TLI60222 Advanced Diploma of Supply Chain Management, a nationally recognised qualification for individuals who provide leadership and strategic direction in planning and managing supply chain logistics. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows your experience contributing to broad plans, budgets or strategies, and taking accountability for the outcomes of self and others, to be formally assessed against this qualification rather than starting your learning over. Once your evidence is assessed and confirmed by our partner RTO, you hold the same AQF-recognised Advanced Diploma as anyone who completed the qualification through classroom-based study.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get an Advanced Diploma of Supply Chain Management through RPL?
Yes, RPL recognises the supply chain experience you've already built through a formal assessment process rather than requiring you to complete a full course from scratch. A partner RTO reviews your evidence against the advanced diploma's national standards before issuing the qualification.
What evidence is needed for RPL at this level in supply chain management?
Assessors look for strategic evidence such as supply chain plans, budgets or initiatives you've contributed to or led, records showing you've integrated supply and demand management across the business, and evidence of leadership or accountability in your role. This level typically needs evidence of broader, strategic responsibility rather than day-to-day tasks alone.
Is an RPL Advanced Diploma of Supply Chain Management the same as one from full-time training?
Yes, it's the same AQF-registered qualification issued by an ASQA-registered RTO, regardless of which pathway you take. RPL doesn't produce a lesser or different version of the qualification.
What does this qualification support in terms of career progression?
An Advanced Diploma of Supply Chain Management is aimed at the Supply Chain Manager role, covering planning, implementing and monitoring the chain of supply and working with complex databases and documentation. It's suited to people already operating at this strategic level who want it formally recognised.
