Receive Your Enrolment & RPL Docs

We'll send your Enrolment Form and LLN Assessment to complete first. Following that, you'll receive your Self-Assessment Form and Third-Party Verification Form to work through carefully before moving to the next step.

Submit Your Completed Forms

Complete and sign all required forms, then return them along with your full evidence portfolio. Ensure every section is filled in, all signatures are included, and all supporting documents are attached before submitting.

Assessment and Competency Review

Your RTO Assessor will review and map your evidence against the required unit competencies. Where further clarification is needed, a competency conversation will be conducted to confirm your knowledge and skills.

Outcome Issued

Once assessed as competent across all required units, the RTO will formally issue your certificate or Statement of Attainment. Your real-world experience is now officially recognised as a nationally accredited qualification.

Can I become a qualified plumber through RPL without redoing a plumbing apprenticeship?−

Yes, if you've already got hands-on plumbing experience, RPL allows that work to be formally assessed against the CPC32420 units by the partner RTO. You still need to go through a real assessment process and provide solid evidence — it recognises skills you already hold rather than replacing the need to prove them.

What evidence is needed to prove plumbing experience for RPL?+

You'll need photos and short videos, roughly 90 to 120 seconds long, showing you clearly carrying out plumbing tasks on a real, active worksite. This on-the-job visual evidence lets the assessor see your practical skills against each unit of competency.

Is an RPL Certificate III in Plumbing the same qualification as one from a plumbing apprenticeship?+

Yes, it's the identical AQF-registered CPC32420 qualification, issued by an ASQA-registered RTO regardless of whether you did an apprenticeship or an RPL pathway. Both lead to the same nationally recognised credential.

Does Certificate III in Plumbing let me get licensed to work as a plumber?+

Plumbing is a licensed occupation, so CPC32420 is generally the qualification you need before applying for state or territory plumbing licensing or registration, alongside a White Card for site access. Licensing requirements and any extra conditions are set by each state or territory's licensing authority, separate to the qualification itself.
