The SHB40216 Certificate IV in Hairdressing recognises the skills of senior hairdressers who provide specialist services such as complex colour correction, chemical reformation and creative hair design, often while leading and supporting a salon team. If you already work at this level, RPL lets you convert that real, on-the-job experience into a nationally recognised qualification without repeating skills you have already mastered. Through a structured evidence and assessment process, your technical expertise is measured against the same national standard as any other pathway into this qualification.
